Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine
Sure, we all know the Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine has been around since at least the 1970's, but they continued making it for years (and still do last we heard). In the early 80’s, the only place you could get a sno-cone was at the mall, the fair, or when the ice cream man came rolling down the road. So, if any of your friends opened this gift on a summer birthday, everyone was happy.
This Peanuts cartoon themed toy was manufactured by Playskool and the box read: “Makes sno-cones at home with your favorite friend…Snoopy”. To make sno-cones, you would put some ice into Snoopy’s dog house and then crank the handle until the ice cubes were saved into sno-cone ice consistency. Then you would scoop the ice out with the little shovel, put it in little paper cups, and then add your flavor. Of course once you used up your paper cups, you never got any more, so you would have to use any cup you could fine.
