ROBIE ROBOT   Robie the Robot was one of those Radio Shack toys that every one wanted to have, but only the rich kids could afford.  This was not only because of the price tag, but also because it used batteries extra fast.  There was also the Omnibot 2000, which was more popular in the UK, a Robie Senior, Robie Junior, and a yellow Radio Shack version that was essentially a gloried piggy bank (featured in the video below).
