OMNIBOT 2000   There were several versions of this type of robot.  There was the Omnibot, which was more popular in the UK, and then Robie Robot, which was more popular in the USA (there was a yellow Radio Shack version as well).  This robot worked by remote control, and would deliver drinks to you.  It had a grasping hand, a tape player, alarm clock, and you could talk through it.  Wow.
