FOOD FIGHTERS   The Food Fighters were made by Mattel and hit the scene in the late 80's.  Essentially these were action figures, in the shape of personified food characters, that would fight each other with their various weapons (imagination not included).  There was an order of fries (Fat Frenchy), a donut, a cookie (Chip the Ripper), an ice cream cone (Sergeant Scoop), a hot dog (pictured), and who knows what else.
