Buy New and Used   Voltron: Defenders of the Universe was a cartoon that aired in 1984.  We are not sure how long it ran, but it was popular enough to spawn its own movie as well as a line of toys.  We think perhaps they still produce this cartoon.  This cartoon was about a group of five lion robots, and their skillful pilots, as they went about the business of saving the universe from the likes of King Zarkon and Prince Lotor.  Episodes are available on DVD and VHS.
