Buy New and Used   Our House was a family drama that ran from 1986 to 1988.  Fans of this show will remember that after the death of his son, Gus Witherspoon (Wilford Brimley) took in his daughter-in-law and three grandchildren to live with him (Shannen Doherty was one of the grandkids).  The show was primarily about the family's adjustment to the new living arrangement and the accompanying lessons in morality.
