SEASON 1 ON DVD   Buy New and Used   Mama's Family was a comedy that ran from 1983 to 1990.  Fans of this show will remember that the sharp-toothed Thelma Harper welcomed a number of her family members into her home, from her sister Fran, to her dimwitted son Vinton (and his kids), and eventually to Vinton's new wife, Naomi.  This was actually a vary humorous spin-off from the Carol Burnett Show.
