Buy New and Used   Jake and the Fatman was a crime drama that ran from 1987 to 1992.  In this TV series, Joe Penny played the role of Jake Styles, and William Conrad played Fatman McCabe.  Word has it this show was a spin-off of a Matlock episode.  The Fatman was a D.A., Jake was a special investigator, and the two of them went about the business of solving crimes in L.A. and Hawaii.
