SEASONS 1 - 3 ON DVD   Buy New and Used BOX SET The Greatest American Hero was an action show that ran from 1981 to 1983.  The story behind this show was a little odd.  Ralph Hinkely, a high school teacher, was taking his kids on a desert field trip when aliens decided to endow him with super powers and a cute super hero outfit.  Clumsy Ralph lost the instruction booklet for the super suit, thus he went bumbling around trying to master his powers, ad hoc, with the help of FBI agent Bill Maxwell and his girlfriend Pam.  Seasons 1 through 3 are currently available on DVD.
