EPISODES ON VHS   Buy New and Used   Based on the Nightmare on Elm Street movie series, a TV spin-off was spawned that ran from 1988 to 1990.  Robert Englund himself, as Freddy, hosted this series, which was ultimately a plethora of scary vignettes about the residents of Elm Street.  Episodes are available on VHS and can be found on DVD on eBay.
