SEASONS 1 - 2 ON DVD Buy New and Used Father Murphy, a Michael Landon show,  was a western family drama that ran from 1981 to 1983.  In this show, John Michael Murphy (Merlin Olsen - NFL Rams Player back in the day) poses as a priest who takes orphaned children under his wing with the help of Mae (a school teacher) and his friend Moses.  Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available on DVD.
