Buy New and Used   Fame the TV series, which ran from 1982 to 1987, was a movie spin-off.  This show was about a group of students attending a dance art school in hopes of making it in the big time ("fame," get it?).  Some of the familiar student names included Chris, Danny, Coco, Leroy, and Jesse.  Season 1 is currently available on DVD.
