SEASONS 1-3 ON DVD   Buy New and Used   Charles in Charge, starring Scott Baio as Charles and Willie Aames as "Buddy," ran from 1984 to 1990.  In this comedy series, Charles, a college student, is given free rent in the Powell family house in exchange for his services as a nanny and a housekeeper.  Between issues related to the kids, his college career, his "buddy," and girls, you had yourself a full fledged TV show.  Some of you may remember the original family was the Pembroke family, but they moved away (bad ratings) and the Powell family moved in.
