Buy New and Used   V: The Series was a rather short-lived TV series with mini-series roots.  The original TV mini-series aired in 1983, with a follow up in 1984 (V: The Final Battle).  The regular series ran from 1984 to 1985, and was basically a continuation of the mini-series.  In the TV series, those aliens that survived biological annihilation became immune to what initially wiped them out, and then begin to take over the world.  But lo, in the distance, a rebel resistance headed up by Mike Donovan is in the works.
