STOCKARD CHANNING Stockard Channing, born Feb. 13, 1944 in NYC, started her acting in the  late 60's on "Sesame Street."  Many of you might remember her as Betty Rizzo in Grease (1978).  At the time of this writing, Channing could be found starring as Abbey Bartlet on the TV series "The West Wing."  In the 80's, Channing starred in a number of made for TV movies, and even had her own show in 1980 called "The Stockard Channing Show."  Her 80's movie resume includes Safari 3000 (1982), Without a Trace (1983), Heartburn (1986), The Men's Club (1986), A Time of Destiny (1988), and Staying Together (1989).
