MARTHA PLIMPTON Martha Plimpton, born Nov. 16, 1970 in NYC, was one of the child actresses who really hit the scene hard in the 1980's.  One of her most popular 80's movie roles was probably that of Stefanie Steinbrenner in Goonies (1985).  Plimpton also starred in Rollover (1981), The River Rat (1984), A Life in the Day (1986), The Mosquito Coast (1986), Shy People (1987), Stars and Bars (1988), Running on Empty (1988), Another Woman (1988), Comicitis (1989), Silence Like Glass (1989), and Parenthood (1989).  Plimpton continues to act, popping up on shows like "ER" and "7th Heaven," but she is not nearly as busy as she has been in years past.
