JULIA ROBERTS Julia Roberts, born Oct. 28, 1967 in Georgia, started her acting career in the 1980's.  There is little doubt that Roberts was more popular in later decades, but she still starred in a couple of high profile 80's movies:  Satisfaction (1988), Mystic Pizza (1988), Blood Red (1989), and Steel Magnolias (1989).  Pretty Woman, which really launched her career, was released in 1990.  Flatliners was released in 1990 as well.  Roberts did do some 80's TV, including a guest appearance on Miami Vice and a made for TV movie called "Baja Oklahoma."
