JESSICA TANDY Jessica Tandy (pictured bottom right), born June 7, 1909 in the UK (died 1994)started her illustrious acting career in the 1930's.  Those of you who are Alfred Hitchcock fans will remember that she starred in The Birds (1963).  Tandy did star in a few made for TV movies, but mostly on the silver screen. Many of you probably best remember as Daisy Werthan in Driving Miss Daisy (1989). Her 80's movie resume included Honky Tonk Freeway (1981), The World According to Garp (1982), Still of the Night (1982), Best Friends (1982), The Bostonians (1984), Cocoon I and II (1985, 1988), Batteries Not Included (1987), and The House on Carroll Street (1988).  Fried Green Tomatoes was in 1992.
