JEAN SIMMONS Jean Simmons (not to be confused with Gene Simmons of Kiss), born Jan. 21, 1929 in the UK, started her acting career way back in the 1940's.  Simmons did a great deal of 80's TV, including guest appearances on shows like "Hotel" and "Murder She Wrote."  Simmons also starred in a number of made for TV movies.  Some of you may remember her as Clarissa Main in The North and South I (1985) and II (1986).  Her 80's movie resume includes The Dawning (1988) and Yellow Pages (1988).
