Fran Drescher, born
Sept. 30, 1957 in New York, started her acting career
back in the late 70's, with her first appearance being
in the movie Saturday Night Fever (1977). Most
people are probably familiar with Drescher for her role
on "The Nanny" in the mid 90's. Never the less,
she was relatively busy in the 1980's, starring Gorp
(1980), The Hollywood Nights (1980), Ragtime (1981),
Doctor Detroit (1983), The Rosebud Beach Hotel (1984),
This is Spinal Tap (1984), Young Lust (1984), It Had to
be You (1989), UHF (1989), and The Big Picture (1989).
As far as 80's TV goes, Drescher could be found guest
starring on shows like Fame, Night Court, Who's the
Boss, performing on a couple of made for TV movies, &
starring in a short lived series called "Charmed Lives." |
