FRANCIS McDORMAND Francis McDormand, born June 23, 1957 in Chicago, might just be most remembered these days for her role as Marge Gunderson in Fargo (1996).  Before this, way back in the 1980's, McDormand was guest starring in shows like Hill Street Blues and even was in a short lived series called "Leg Work."  Her 80's movie repetoire includes Blood Simple (1984), Crimewave (1985), Raising Arizona (1987), Mississippi Burning (1988), & Chattahoochee (1989).
