ESTHER ROLLE Esther Rolle, born Nov. 8, 1920 in Florida (died 1998), became very popular as an actress in 1970's with roles on TV shows like "Maude" and "Good Times."  As far as 80's TV goes, Rolle could be found as a guest star on shows like The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, and Murder She Wrote.  Her 80's movie resume included Ethic Notions (1986), P.K. and the Kids (1987), The Might Quinn (1989), and Driving Miss Daisy (1989).
