Ellen Burstyn, born
Dec. 7, 1932 in Detroit, started her acting career way
back in the 1960's. By the time the 80's rolled
around, Burstyn was a seasoned actor, having had starred
in movies like The Exorcist (1973). In the 80's,
Burstyn starred in more than a few made for TV movies.
Her silver screen resume includes Resurrection (1980),
Silence of the North (1981), The Ambassador (1984),
Twice in a Lifetime (1985), and Hanna's War (1988).
From 1986-1987, she even had her own show called "The
Ellen Burstyn Show." |
