ELINOR DONAHUE Elinor Donahue, born April 19, 1937 in Tacoma, first hit our radar screen as Sheriff Taylor's long-term girlfriend on the Andy Griffith Show (1960's).  Did they ever get married or what?  By the time the 80's rolled around, Donahue could be found guest starring on shows like CHiPs, Fantasy Island, Mork and Mindy, The Love Boat, Dukes of Hazzard, Hotel, Happy Days, Riptide, The Golden Girls, and a number of made for TV movies.  She also starred as Kate Honeycutt (1984-1986) on "Days of Our Lives."  She also starred on a couple of other shows called "Santa Barbara" and "Generations."
