BROOKE SHIELDS Brooke Shields, born May 31, 1965 in NYC, might be thought of by some as more a model than an actress, but she has starred in a ton of shows ("Suddenly Susan" ran for four years from 1996 to 2000).  She actually started acting in the 1970's, but it was probably not until The Blue Lagoon (1980) that people began really talking about her.  Other 80's movies that Shields starred in include Endless Love (1981), Sahara (1983), Speed Zone (1989), and Brenda Starr (1989).  There were a couple of made for TV movies as well.
