AMANDA PETERSON Amanda Peterson, born July 8, 1971 in Colorado, is probably best remembered for her role as Ciny Mancini in the 1987 movie Can't Buy Me Love.  This movie very well might have been the pinnacle of her acting career, but who are we to say.  Other 80's movies Peterson starred in include Annie (1982), Explorers (1985), The Lawless Land (1988), and Listen to Me (1989).  As far as 80's TV is concerned, you could find Peterson on two rather short lived TV series, one called "Boone" in 1983-1984 and another called "A Year in the Life" from 1987 - 1988.  She also starred in a couple of made for TV movies.
