WOODY HARRELSON Woody Harrelson, born July 23, 1961 in Texas, really got his big acting break as "Woody" on the long running TV series "Cheers."  He played this role from 1985 to 1993.  Harrelson could be found on other 80's TV, such as a few made for TV movies and SNL.  There were only two 80's movies that Harrelson starred in that we know of, Wildcats (1986) and Cool Blue (1987).  Although Harrelson continues to stay very busy as an actor, we would have to say that the 90's were his most popular years as far as the limelight goes.  Quick Fact:  Harrelson's father has twice been convicted as a hitman.  Wow.
