Wesley Snipes, born
July 31, 1962 in Florida, had his best decade in the
1990's. His most recent time in the limelight has
revolved around the vampire flick series, Blade.
Snipes did some TV in the 80's, such as a guest
appearance on the TV show Miami Vice, but mostly movies.
His most memorable role was that of Willie Mays Hayes in
the 1989 movie Major League. His other 80's movies
include Wildcats (1986), Streets of Gold (1986),
Critical Condition (1987), Bad (1987), and Vietnam War
Story II (1988). King of New York and Mo' Better
Blues was not released until 1990. Quick Fact:
His apartment was destroyed on 9/11 in the Trade Center
catastrophe. Luckily for him, he was delayed at
the gym or would have been home at the time. |
