Tom Berenger, born May
31, 1949 in Chicago, is pictured here in his younger
days. Berenger starred as Tim Seigel on "One Life
to Live" back in the mid 70's. Berenger did very
little TV in the 1980's. His most memorable 80's
movie roles, from our perspective, were as Sgt. Bob
Barnes in Platoon (1986) and Jake Taylor in Major League
(1989). But we can't forget, he was also in The
Big Chill (1983) and Born on the Fourth of July (1989).
His other 80's movies include The Dogs of War (1981),
Behind the Door (1982), Eddie and the Cruisers (1983),
Fear City (1984), Rustler's Rhapsody (1985), Someone to
Watch Over Me (1987), Shoot to Kill (1988), Betrayed
(1988), and Last Rites (1988). Berenger is busier
than ever these days, with tons of projects.
