Timothy Dalton, born
March 21, 1944 in the UK, started his acting career way
back in the 1960's. After Roger Moore decided to
get out of the Bond role, Dalton was tapped, then
Brosnan, then Dalton again as Brosnan could not get out
of Remington Steele. Dalton starred in two Bond
films, The Living Daylights (1987) and Licence to Kill
(1989). Little do people know, Dalton was actually
over the Bond role as early as 1969, but he declined.
In addition to some 80's made for TV movie and
mini-series roles, Dalton starred in the following
movies: Flash Gordon (1980), Chanel Solitaire
(1981), The Doctor and the Devils (1985), Hawks (1988),
and Brenda Starr (1989). |
