Steve Martin, born
August 14, 1945 in Texas, started his career in the
1970's as a comic on a number of comic TV series.
In the 80's, Martin could be seen on SNL, Letterman, The
Tonight Show, and a 1982 TV series called "Twilight
Theatre." Martin starred in some very funny 80's
movies, such as Pennies From Heaven (1981), Dead Men
Don't Wear Plaid (1982), The Man With Two Brains (1983),
The Lonely Guy (1984), All of Me (1984), Movers and
Shakers (1985), Three Amigos (1986), Little Shop of
Horrors (1986), Roxanne (1987), Plains, Trains, and
Automobiles (1987), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988), and
Parenthood (1989). Father of the Bride was not
released until 1991. |
