Scott Connery, born
August 25, 1930 in Scotland, is one of our favorite
actors here at
www.ilovethe80s.com. Connery started his
acting career way back in the 1950's, and his first
James Bond 007 role as Dr. No in 1962. He remained
the only Bond until the 80's, when Roger Moore took
over. Never the less, Connery did make one last
Bond movie in the 80's: Never Say Never Again
(1983). Connery's 80's movie resume includes
Outland (1981), Time Bandits (1981), Sword of the
Valiant (1982), Five Days One Summer (1982), Wrong Is
Right (1982), Highlander (1986), The Name of the Rose
(1986), The Untouchables (1987), Presidio (1988),
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), and Family
Business (1989). The Hunt for Red October was
released in 1990. You can still find Connery, but
not nearly as often as years past. |
