Samuel L. Jackson,
born Dec. 21, 1948 in Washington, D.C., started his
acting career in the 1970's playing thugs and druggies.
You sci-fi nerds out there know Jackson as Mace Windu
from the latest Star Wars Trilogy. Jackson was not
as popular in the 80's as he was in the 1990's and over
the last several years, but he could still be found in
the 1980's. On 80's TV, you could find Jackson on
Spenser For Hire and a couple of made for TV movies.
Some of his 80's movie roles were small, but he could
still be found in Ragtime (1981), Magic Sticks (1987),
Eddie Murphy Raw (1987), School Daze (1988), Coming to
America (1988), Do the Right Thing (1989), and Sea of
Love (1989). Jackson starred in seven movies that
were released in 1990. |
