Sam Neill, born Sept.
14, 1947 in Northern Ireland, started his acting career
in the 1970's. Many of you probably think of
Jurassic Park (1993, 2001) when you think of Sam Neill,
but he was actually very busy in the 1980's. You
could find him on 80's TV on various mini-series
(example Kane and Abel, 1985), and he starred in the
following silver screen flicks: Lucinda Brayford
(1980), The Final Conflict (1981), Possession (1981),
From a Far Country (1981), Attack Force Z (1982), Enigma
(1983), The Blood of Others (1984), Plenty (1985), For
Love Alone (1986), The Good Wife (1987), A Cry in the
Dark (1988), Dead Calm (1989), and The French Revolution
(1989). The Hunt for Red October was not released
until 1990. Neill has several movies in post
production. |
