Rutger Hauer, born
Jan. 23, 1944 in the Netherlands, started his career
back in 1969 on a TV series called "Floris." The
80's Hauer movie that first comes to mind is Blade
Runner (1982). He also starred in Spetters (1980),
Chanel Solitaire (1981), Nighthawks (1981), The Osterman
Weekend (1984), A Breed Apart (1984), Eureka (1984),
Ladyhawke (1985), Flesh and Blood (1985), The Hitcher
(1986), Wanted Dead or Alive (1987), The Legend of the
Holy Drinker (1988), Blind Fury (1989), As Long as It's
Love (1989), The Blood of Heroes (1989), and Bloodhounds
of Broadway (1989). Hauer continues to stay very
busy, even starring in the latest installment of Batman. |
