RODNEY DANGERFIELD Rodney Dangerfield (real name was Jacob Cohen, first stage name was Jack Roy), born Nov. 22, 1921 in New York (died in 2004), was one of those guys who never got any respect, at least that is what he used to say.  As a stand up comic and movie funny man, Dangerfield got plenty of respect.  He had tons and tons of appearances on the Johnny Carson show in the 70's (made a total of 70 overall appearances) and was on SNL a few times.  His big break came way back on the Ed Sullivan Show (he appeared there 16 times).  Although his 80's movie list is not long, it contains some great movies:  Caddyshack (1980), Easy Money (1983), and Back to School (1986).  Quick Fact:  Dangerfield was the first entertainer to have a website, which was launched in 1995.
