Richard Chamberlain,
born March 31, 1934 in Los Angeles, started way back in
the 60's. In the 80's, Chamberlain starred in some
of the most memorable made for TV mini-series that were
aired, including "Shogun" and "The Thorn Birds."
Although Chamberlain mostly performed on TV shows during
the 80's, he did star in the following movies:
Murder By Phone (1982), King Solomon's Mines (1985),
Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold (1987), and
the Return of the Three Musketeers (1989).
Chamberlain also had a quick stint on a 1989 TV series
called "Island Son," and a little known min-series
called "Dream West (1986)." He dropped out of the
acting scene by 2000. |
