RALPH MACCHIO Ralph Macchio, born Nov. 4, 1961 in New York, first popped up in the 80's.  There is little doubt that his claim to faim was as Daniel LaRusso in the Karate Kid movie series (1984, 1986, 1989), but he also got big notice for his role as Johnny Cade in The Outsiders (1983).  A few of you might remember that Maccchio was also on the TV series "Eight is Enough" from 1980-1981.  Other an a few other 80's TV show appearances that we know of, Macchio mostyly starred in movies, including Up the Academy (1980), Teachers (1984), Crossroads (1986), and Distant Thunder (1989).  Where is he now?  He can still find him in a movie or two, but so far nothing extraordinary.
