Paul Newman, born Jan.
26, 1925 in Ohio, got his acting start on a 50's TV show
called "The Aldridge Family." By the 60's, Newman
was hot stuff, as Cool Hand Luke (1967) and Butch
Cassidy (1969). In the 80's, Newman starred in
When Time Ran Out (1980), Fort Apache the Bronx (1981),
Absence of Malice (1981), The Verdict (1982), Harry and
Son (1984), The Color of Money (1986), Fat Man and
Little Boy (1989), and Blaze (1989). He did very
little 80's TV. He made some movies in the 90's,
and still seems to be at it. Newman is a big
philanthropist, which is nice. Quick Fact.
Newman won 2nd place in the 1979 24 hour Le Mans race.
