PAT MORITA Pat Morita (Noriyuki Morita) was born June 28, 1932 in California (yes, California).  Although Morita started his acting career back in the 1960's, many of you looking at this website first remember him as Arnold on the TV series "Happy Days" from 1975-1976 and again from 1982-1983.  You could also find Morita on Magnum PI, Laverne and Shirley, a few made for TV movies, and the TV series "Ohara (1987-1988).  And of course his popularity was greater than ever after his effort as Mr. Miyagi in the Karate Kid movies series (1984, 1986, and 1989).  His other 80's movies include When Time Ran Out (1980), Full Moon High (1981), Slapstick (1982), Savannah Smiles (1982), Jimmy the Kid (1983), Night Patrol (1984), Captive Hearts (1987), and Collision Course (1989).  Morita has stayed extremely busy since the 80's, popping up in a ton of lesser known movies.  Wax on, wax off.
