Morgan Freeman, born
June 1, 1937 in Memphis, is one of those actors who
stands the test of time. He started back in the
60's as an extra, and by the time the 70's rolled
around, things starting picking up for him. Some
of you might even remember him from the early 70's TV
show "The Electric Company." Freeman could be
found on 80's TV as well (made for TV movies, the series
"Ryan's Hope," and "Another World.") His 80's
movie resume includes Brubaker (1980), Death of a
Prophet (1981), Eyewitness (1981), Harry and Son (1984),
Teachers (1984), Marie (1985), That Was Then, This Is
Now (1985), Street Smart (1987), Clean and Sober (1988),
Lean On Me (1989), Johnny Handsome (1989), Driving Miss
Daisy (1989), and Glory (1989). He remains a
highly sought after actor to this day. |
