MICHAEL DOUGLAS Michael Douglas, born Sept. 24, 1944 in New Jersey, started his acting career back in the late 60's.  As many of you know, Douglas is now one of the most popular leading men in Hollywood.  Some of you might even remember his role on the TV series "The Streets of San Francisco" from 1972-1976.  Although his 80's movie list is not as long as you would expect, he starred in some really good ones:  It's My Turn (1980), The Star Chamber (1983), Romancing the Stone (1984), A Chorus Line (1985), The Jewel of the Nile (1985), Fatal Attraction (1987), Wall Street (1987), Black Rain (1989), and The War of the Roses (1989).  Basic Instinct was not released until 1992.  Other than an appearance in 1984 on SNL, Douglas did no other TV shows.
