Mark Hamill was born
Sept. 25, 1951 in Oakland. Many people do not know
that Hamill got his start in the early 70's as Kent
Murray on "General Hospital" and as the voice for
cartoons like Scooby-Doo and the Flintstones.
There is probably little doubt that the first thing you
think of when seeing Hamill is Luke Skywalker from the
original Star Wars Trilogy. A question we asked
ourselves is, "where is he now?" Hamill has
actually stayed very busy since the 70's, starring in
movies, on TV, and doing voices for cartoons. In
the 80's, Star Wars wasn't his only gig. Although
not an exhaustive list, he also starred in The Big Red
One (1980), The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia
(1981), Britannia Hospital (1982), and Slipstream
(1989). |
