LARRY HAGMAN Larry Hagman, born Sept. 21, 1931 in Fort Worth, is probably best known for his role as J.R. Ewing on the long running TV series "Dallas" that started in 1978.  Hagman actually started acting way back in the 50's, and you really don't see much of him these days (last thing we know about was 1998).  Hagman really didn't do much other than "Dallas" in the 80's.  Other than a few additional TV appearances, he starred in just two movies, one called S.O.B. (1981) and one called Jag Rodnar (1981).
