JOHN RITTER John Ritter, born Sept. 17, 1948 in Burbank (died in 2003), is probably best recognized for his 80's role as Jack Tripper on the TV series "Three's Company" (show's name changed to "Threes a Crowd" in 1984).  His latest effort, before his death, was the successful TV show "8 Simple Rules."  Ritter started acting in the early 70's.  His 80's resume probably includes more TV show appearances than movie appearances.  His 80's movie list includes Hero at Large (1980), Wholly Moses (1980), They All Laughed (1981), The Flight of the Dragons (1982), Real Men (1987), and Skin Deep (1989).  Funny guy.
