JOHN LITHGOW John Lithgow, born Oct 19, 1945 in New York, started hitting the scene in the 70's.  In the 90's, Lithgow starred on the TV series "3rd Rock from the Sun."  The 80's were a busy decade for Lithgow, evidenced by his many SNL hosting experiences.  His 80's movie resume includes Blow Out (1981), I'm Dancing as Fast as I Can (1982), The World According to Garp (1982), Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983), Terms of Endearment (1983), Footloose (1984), The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai (1984), 2010 (1984), Santa Clause (1985), Mesmerized (1986), The Manhattan Project (1986), Harry and the Hendersons (1987), Distant Thunder (1988), and Out Cold (1989).
