JOHN HURT John Hurt was born Jan.  22, 1940 in the United Kingdom.  Although Hurt has been acting solid since the 60's, we at www.ilovethe80s.com did not remember too much about him until doing research.  Hurt was actually very busy in the 80's, starring in The Elephant Man (1980), Heaven's Gate (1980), Night Crossing (1981), History of the World: Part 1 (1981), Partners (1982), The Osterman Weekend (1983), Champions (1984), Success is the Best Revenge (1984), The Hit (1984), 1984 (1984), After Darkness (1985), Jake Speed (1986), White Mischief (1987), Rociante (1987), The Hunting of the Snark (1987), From the Hip (1987), Spaceballs (1987), Aria (1987), Bengali Night (1988), Deadline (1988), Scandal (1989), and Little Sweetheart (1989).  Hurt also starred in several TV shows and even in the original Alien movie (1979).
