James Earl Jones, born
January 17, 1931 in Mississippi, will always be the
voice of Darth Vader to those of us who are sci-fi
nerds. Jones actually starred on two soaps in the
60's, "The Guiding Light" and "As the World Turns."
His 80's movie resume includes The Bushido Blade (1981),
The Flight of the Dragons (1982), Conan the Barbarian
(1982), Blood Tide (1982), City Limits (1985), My Little
Girl (1986), Soul Man (1986), Gardens of Stone (1987),
Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold (1987),
Matewan (1987), Coming to America (1988), The Hunting of
the Snark (1989), Three Fugitives (1989), Field of
Dreams (1989), and Best of the Best (1989). Jones
also starred in more than a few 80's TV shows and made
for TV movies. |
