JAMES CAAN James Caan was born March 26, 1940 in the Bronx.  Most recently Caan has been starring on the TV series "Las Vegas."  He has been working steady since the 60's, and probably really began getting notice for his roll as Sonny Corleone in the Godfather Trilogy.  In the 80's, Caan starred in Hide in Plain Sight (1980), Thief (1981), Within Memory (1981), Kiss Me Goodbye (1982), Gardens of Stone (1987), Alien Nation (1988), and Dad (1989).
