HUGO WEAVING Hugo Weaving, born April 4, 1960 in Nigeria, is probably most recognized these days for his role as Agent Smith in the Matrix Trilogy (and The Lord of the Rings).  Never the less, he was around in the 80's, starring in Maybe This Time (1982), The City's Edge (1983), For Love Alone (1986), and The Right Hand Man (1987).  He also acted in several TV mini-series.  Weaving's family moved around a lot, eventually settling in Australia.  He is more popular today than he was in the 80's.
